Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how HindSite (“HindSite,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use tryhindsite.app (the “Service”). HindSite is operated by Bishmore Holdings Ltd., a company incorporated in Nova Scotia, Canada.
We’ve written this in plain language. If anything is unclear, email us at hello@tryhindsite.app.
1. Who we are
The Service is provided by Bishmore Holdings Ltd. (“Bishmore”), incorporated in the Province of Nova Scotia, Canada. For any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@tryhindsite.app.
2. What information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the Service:
- Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google as part of that sign-in.
- Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers — Stripe handles that directly. We retain limited records such as your subscription status and plan tier.
- Channel and usage data. When you analyze a YouTube channel, we retrieve publicly available data about that channel and its videos through the YouTube Data API, and we store the results to power your reports and notifications. We also keep basic records of your activity within the Service (such as channels you’ve analyzed or followed) so the Service works as expected.
- Analytics data. We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies, to understand how many people visit the Service and how they find it (for example, which website referred them). This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you individually.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use advertising trackers.
3. Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies required for the Service to function:
- An authentication cookie set by our login provider (Supabase) to keep you signed in.
- Cookies set by Stripe during checkout to process payments securely.
Because these cookies are essential to providing a service you’ve asked for, and because our analytics are cookieless, we do not display a cookie consent banner. If we add analytics or advertising technologies that rely on non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and provide an appropriate consent mechanism at that time.
4. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account and sign you in;
- Provide the core features of the Service, including channel analysis, reports, and notifications;
- Process payments and manage subscriptions (via Stripe);
- Send you transactional and Service-related emails (via Resend), such as sign-in confirmations and the notifications you’ve opted into;
- Understand overall usage and improve the Service;
- Maintain the security and integrity of the Service.
5. Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted third-party providers to operate the Service. Each processes data only as needed to provide its function:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting (stores your account and channel data).
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
- Google / YouTube Data API — the source of the public channel and video data the Service analyzes; Google handles Google sign-in.
- Resend — sending transactional and notification emails.
- Vercel — application hosting and cookieless web analytics.
These providers may store and process data outside of Canada, including in the United States. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on the providers’ own safeguards for handling that data.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account (see Section 8), we will remove your personal data from our systems, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, limited payment records that Stripe or applicable law require us to keep).
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Request deletion of your personal information;
- Withdraw consent where we rely on it.
Canadian users have these rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have rights under the GDPR / UK GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@tryhindsite.app and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Deleting your account
There is currently no self-serve account-deletion button in the Service. To delete your account and the personal data associated with it, email hello@tryhindsite.app with your request, and we will process it manually. We will confirm once it’s done. (Note that any associated subscription should be cancelled as well; we can handle this as part of your request.)
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at hello@tryhindsite.app and we will delete it.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, and we rely on the security practices of our service providers (Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, and others). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. For significant changes, we’ll provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
